Roberto Martinez is hot property right now: favourite for not one but TWO managerial vacancies. And given he was spotted with John Henry (unless that pic’s a fake!) I reckon we’ll be seeing his brand of passing football at Anfield next season. Of course, he would be replacing Kenny Dalglish were he to take over as manager, so see what you can do with this picture.

Who’d have thunk it eh? Wigan were about 1/6 to go down at one point and now Martinez is the go to man for clubs with no manager. Personally I think “why the clamour for a man who narrowly avoided relegation twice?” Realistically that makes Martinez not as good as Sam Allardyce (always beat the drop with ease) and much worse than Martin O Neill (ditto but even more easily). But time will tell I suppose.
