No fewer than three side events are currently underway here at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin. The one about to crown a champion is the €600 PLO Championship – down to a final four players of whom three were facing the rail – Tom Hanlon, Kevin Allen and Ross Boatman. We’ll post the results when the final card has come to rest.
The €1,000 NLH Freezeout is also going on, featuring a structure described by participant Jamie Roberts as “fantastic.” The prize pool is a huge €104,000 with a €33,000 sized chunk reserved for first place. There are 58/104 players remaining, some of whom are:

Last but not least is the zesty innovation of the “win the button” NLH Freezout. I do believe you can still buy in to this €200 +€25 tournament if you’re in the area – there are currently 81 players registered. In case the title didn’t give it away, when you win a hand, you also win the button. Interesting.
