Haven’t blogged in a while so apologies for that. Have been playing a little of poker recently with the large chunk of it being online. And it’s been going very very well. After a few poor months to finish last year iv come into 2011 with a bang.
Here’s some of my results from the last month or so:
Jan 23rd Party $109… 1st place for $7826
Jan 30th FTP Brawl … 24th place for $4733
Jan 30th Party Hi roller … 8th place for $3700
Feb 6th Paddy Power 100r … 7th place for $1685
Feb 11th Paddy Power 100r … 1st place for $17,334
Feb 22nd FTP $75 … 1st place for $6321
Feb 22nd Party $109 … 4th place for $1100
Feb 22nd Paddy Power 50r … 3rd place for $2860
Feb 25th Microgaming $109 … 1st place for $4324
Feb 25th Paddy Power $330 … 2nd place for $3300
Feb 27th Party Hi roller … 2nd place for $16,600
Feb 27th FTP $55 … 3rd place for $3898
March 8th FTP $55 … 1st place for $5037
So its been nice to get some good results. I feel like i’m playing really well and can feel a ‘bigger’ win just around the corner.
Whats on the cards for the next few months? I’m heading to London next weekend for the GUKPT £1650 event. I haven’t played live in over a month so i’m very excited for it. The weekend after London I think i’m going to head to Vienna for the WPT. My confidence is sky high at the moment so lets hope I can get a result in one of these tourneys.
Other than that i’m a couple months into a wight loss bet with fellow Irish player John Oshea, iv come from 23.6% body fat to 16.9%, so I’m making good progress but theres still a few months to go. The aim is to halve what my original body fat was. I know Johns a big fan of his chips, so i’m hoping he indulges into many of them over the next while.
Finally the Irish Open is coming up and PPP are running many great promotions for it. Particularly the sole survivor so get qualifying on Paddy Power Poker for the chance of playing in one of Europe’s most prestigious events.
Until next time
